Profile
Established in 2004 by former West End musical performers Helen and Jamie Read, Read Dance & Theatre Schools provide a professional, fun and safe setting for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy dance, singing and acting. It has always been our belief that the performing arts should be for everyone, and so as well as running our own weekly dance and theatre classes in Thatcham, Theale and Caversham, we work in partnership with local schools, councils and community groups.

Our students benefit from fantastic tuition and regular performance opportunities including Arts Festivals, Dance Competitions, and our own School Shows. In fact, in the last 2 years our students have won five awards at the Red Cross 'Dance For Life' competition, danced at Fashion Shows for Tesco, and also formed the on-stage choir for the professional UK touring production of 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' at the Hexagon Theatre, Reading!

We are a local, family run business with over ten years experience. At our school, our teachers are all CRB checked and have professional experience as performers and tecahers in their field. In our enetertainments company, we offer extremely competetive rates, and all of our shows feature genuine West End show cast-members.
